The Dark Side of Foster Care Pt 1

Sometimes it takes an injustice to spur people to action.  When I hear about poor examples of foster parents, it’s shocking, disturbing, and makes me want to try even harder to break the stereotype that we’re in it for the paycheck.  Babygaga.com came out with an article a couple months ago that shared confessions from kids who had bad experiences in the system.  Check them out below, and when you’re done, let’s all work to change these stories and give these kids a better experience.

These comments break my heart. Every time I read something like this or see how a television show showcases only the bad side I try that much harder to make our home a place of love and comfort.

I completely agree! It takes one individual at a time to help change the narrative.
